As the name suggests this butterfly is found on chalk grassland, a rare habitat in Norfolk but it does exist at Warham camp. The earth works which were carried out during the construction of this iron age fort exposed the underlying chalk creating perfect conditions for a host of species associated with chalk grassland. Well worth a visit in August.
